Local community chef Brian McDermott will be holding cookery demonstrations in Letterkenny Shopping Centre on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th February. Using local produce and McGee’s quality meats, Brian will be cooking various dishes and providing customers with various uncomplicated recipes and easy-to-remember expert tips for cooking at home. Customers will also have the opportunity to sample some of the delicious food cooked by Brian. The 20 minute demonstrations will take place between 5.00pm – 8.00pm on both Thursday and Friday evening. The demonstrations are free of charge to all customers at Letterkenny Shopping Centre. Recipes will be posted here after the event.

Brian is looking forward to sharing his skills with Letterkenny Shopping Centre's customers:

“The role I gain most satisfaction from is working with the public at demonstrations, so I am very much looking forward to my relationship with Letterkenny Shopping Centre and giving people essential cooking skills to reunite them with local food again in a light hearted way. Live cooking is exciting and I can’t wait to get cooking in the shopping centre.”
